The Chicago Cubs, founded in 1876, are a privately owned American professional baseball team based in Chicago, Illinois. They are a member of the National League Central Division of Major League Baseball (MLB). The Cubs play their home games at Wrigley Field, located on Chicago's North Side. The team has a rich history and a loyal fan base, known as "Cubbies" or "North Siders." The Cubs have won three World Series titles, in 1908, 1909, and 2016, and have a long-standing rivalry with the Chicago White Sox. In 2023, the team had approximately 1,510 employees and generated around $500 million in revenue.
