China Mobile International, also known as CMI, is a publicly owned company headquartered in Hong Kong. Operating as a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Mobile, it lists China Mobile Hong Kong (CMHK) among its parent companies. Founded in 2010, the company employs approximately 1,420 individuals and reported $4.1 billion in revenue as of 2025. Specializing in telecoms, CMI is mainly responsible for the operation of China Mobile's international business.
On June 18, 2026, China Mobile International (CMI) awarded Eastcompeace Technology Co. Ltd. the 2026-2027 Global Data Card Business eSIM Profile Download Services Project, tasking Eastcompeace with delivering a worldwide eSIM Remote Provisioning Platform (RSP) and end-to-end profile download services. Earlier, on June 12, CMI partnered with Nigeria's 21st Century Technologies to begin deploying an AI-ready sovereign cloud platform. This platform, currently under its deployment phase at 21st Century's Lekki Lagos data centre, leverages 21st Century's nearly 30 years of digital infrastructure investments in Nigeria alongside CMI's advanced products. Previously, on June 9, CMI signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tanco Holdings Bhd's indirect wholly owned subsidiary, Tanco Dot Com Sdn Bhd, to explore the development and construction of a 50-megawatt (MW) information technology load data centre in Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia.
