On April 28, 2026, China Mobile International (CMI) partnered with Central Pattana (CPN), Thailand’s property developer and retailer, to provide exclusive offers for users of JegoTrip, CMI's travel super-app. This collaboration aims to enhance digital travel experiences and boost Thai-Chinese tourism, linking digital travel planning with lifestyle shopping and dining at Central shopping centers across Thailand for Chinese and Asian travelers. CPN operates Central malls nationwide, and CMI is described as the world’s largest mobile network provider with over 1 billion subscribers. Earlier, on April 9, 2026, CMI signed an agreement with Moroccan telecoms operator Inwi to deploy a private 5G network for industrial use, marking the first such project in Morocco. This deal, made during Gitex Africa in Marrakech, involves deploying the network on a 52-hectare industrial site in Morocco's Oriental region, with Inwi handling the design, commissioning, and operation of the secure, high-speed infrastructure for one of China Mobile's major clients in the region.
