On February 15, 2026, Singapore-based energy solutions firm AsiaPhos Limited announced it signed a non-binding Letter of Intent (LOI) with China Mobile International Limited to collaborate on data center and artificial intelligence (AI) computing services. The proposed partnership will target opportunities in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore. AsiaPhos Limited formally signed the LOI with China Mobile International Limited (CMI) on February 9, 2026, specifically to explore these ventures. This followed an earlier disclosure on February 8, 2026, concerning AsiaPhos Ltd's entry into the LOI with CMI for joint or allied efforts in data centers. AsiaPhos, a clean energy company that previously focused on phosphate mining, aims to develop data centers through this collaboration with the international division of China’s largest telecom operator.
