Chinese National Press and Publication Administration, also known as NPPA, is a state-owned entity headquartered in China. Founded in 2018, the NPPA functions as an external name of the Publicity Department of the Chinese Communist Party. The entity is primarily responsible for implementing the propaganda work guidelines of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), formulating news and publishing management policies and supervising their implementation, managing news and publishing administrative affairs, supervising the content and quality of publications, and managing the import of publications.
