Claremont Graduate University, also known as CGU, is a privately owned institution headquartered in the US. Founded in 1925 and operating with approximately 950 employees, it functions as a private postgraduate research university located in Claremont, California, United States. The university is a member of the Claremont Colleges consortium, which includes five undergraduate and two graduate institutions of higher education. CGU is organized into seven distinct units: the School of Arts & Humanities; the School of Community & Global Health; the Drucker School of Management; the School of Educational Studies; the School of Social Science, Policy, & Evaluation; the Center for Information Systems & Technology; and the Institute of Mathematical Sciences.
