On September 26, 2026, BUCS chief executive Will Roberts noted that the new three-year broadcast agreement with Clubber TV could transform Super Rugby into a competition followed well beyond university campuses. This statement followed the September 17 announcement that British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS) partnered with Clubber TV to stream every men’s and women’s BUCS Super Rugby fixture for the 2026-27 season, significantly increasing coverage from approximately 20% to 100%. The agreement includes 18 matches available free-to-air on the streaming service. Previously, on August 19, Clubber TV and Hearst Networks established a pilot partnership to broadcast select Elior Champ Rugby games free-to-air on BLAZE during the 2026-27 season.
