News Summary:

The Le Mans museum is scheduled to reopen in May 2026 following a revamp and extension, aiming to modernize its offerings to align with the evolution of the circuit and the race itself. Previously, on April 11, the ACO confirmed technical specifications for the next generation of LMP2 cars, set for introduction in 2028. This includes a new target weight of 950 kg and a 3.4-litre twin-turbo V6 engine, supplied by Gibson Technology, which will replace its previous 4.2-litre normally aspirated V8. Earlier, in February, the ACO highlighted the performance of hydrogen vehicles in Monaco and Paris at the Hyvolution salon, an international event dedicated to the hydrogen ecosystem. This followed its participation at the Hyvolution Paris salon from January 27 to 29, where endurance racing prototypes showcased research into hydrogen deployment for decarbonization and zero CO2 emissions in mobility.
