On the same day, the company partnered with Delmege Consumer, a collaboration confirmed by Daraz Head of Retail and Supply Chain Dushan Kahandagamage and Delmege Group Head of Marketing Baratha Piyadigama, to bring Delmege's goods directly to customers. This development follows reports on June 15 that Daraz Bangladesh reportedly laid off approximately 100 employees on May 6 and 7, with former managerial-level staff stating their dismissals were communicated in short meetings.
