DAX, a privately owned company headquartered in the United Kingdom, operates as a subsidiary of Global Media & Entertainment. The company employs approximately 100 individuals and functions as a digital advertising platform specializing in RTB and programmatic solutions. DAX focuses on inserting targeted advertising into digital audio channels, including music streaming and podcasts, alongside programmatic outdoor advertising displays. Its network of publishers enables it to reach an audience exceeding 130 million people globally.
Media and entertainment group Global was appointed by the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority (LCRCA) on August 21, 2026, to manage advertising on its forthcoming franchised buses. This move supports Mayor Steve Rotheram’s initiative to bring the network under public control and aims to reinvest advertising revenue back into the regional transport network as public control of the fleet begins to roll out next month. Previously, on August 18, 2026, the Global group launched a new commissioning company, Global Commissioning, based at its head office in Aberdeen alongside group company Apollo. This new division will deliver commissioning, completions, start-up, handover, and operational readiness support to clients across multiple sectors. The company, targeting a headcount of 25 by year-end after securing two contracts, will be headed by new hire Ben Rushton, who brings 15 years of experience to the role.
