Functioning as a tier 1 media tech buyer, the company provides telecommunications and digital services, offering a comprehensive range of mobile, internet, data, fixed line, and TV services.
On July 23, 2026, the Board approved the reconstitution of its Remuneration Nomination and Governance (RNG) Committee and its Audit Committee. This followed the election of Asiath Rilweena as the Public Director, necessitating the changes to satisfy quorum requirements and ensure continued compliance with regulatory standards and the committees' respective Terms of Reference. Previously, on July 22, Dhiraagu handed over the second and final speedboat to Mohamed Yoosuf, the grand prize winner of its 'Win 2 Speedboats' promotion. The prize, an Al Shaali Marine Canary 28 sports speedboat powered by a Yamaha 250HP outboard engine, was presented at the Al Shaali Marine boatyard. Earlier, on July 21, Dhiraagu announced that applications are open for NGO registration for the Dhiraagu Maldives Road Race (DMRR) 2026, the country's biggest annual run and the only international run in the Maldives officially registered with AIMS since its inception in 2007. This followed a July 16 announcement regarding scheduled maintenance work on its SMS/Short Messaging system, set for July 17 between 01:00 and 02:00 AM, and July 18 between 03:00 and 05:00 AM.
