On March 11, 2026, Dhiraagu announced scheduled maintenance for its Fibre Broadband network, set for March 13 between 00:00 hrs and 06:00 hrs, during which some customers may experience service interruptions of up to five minutes. Previously, on March 8, Abdulla Saeed was confirmed as the winner of the first speedboat in Dhiraagu’s ‘Win 2 Speedboats’ promotion, as customers awaited the reveal of the second winner. Earlier, on March 4, Dhiraagu signed an agreement with Maldives Ports Limited (MPL), represented by Deputy Chief Executive Officer Mohamed Mueen and Dhiraagu Assistant Manager of Public Relations and Sponsorships Nashaya Naeem, to be the Digital Partner for the Maldives Maritime Conference 2026, scheduled for April 15. This followed the company receiving three Ookla® Speedtest Awards™ at Mobile World Congress on March 3, recognizing it as ‘Maldives’ Fastest 5G Network,’ ‘Maldives’ Best 5G Network,’ and for ‘Maldives’ Best 5G Gaming Experience,’ based on Ookla® Speedtest Intelligence® data for the first half of 2025.
