[Translated] 株式会社NTTドコモ(以下、ドコモ)と北海道電力株式会社(以下、北海道電力)は、2026年2月2日(月)より、北海道内に設置している携帯電話基地局の蓄電池を活用したデマンドレスポンス※1(以下、DR)運用を開始しますので、お知らせします。ドコモでは、停電発生時等の災害対策の一環として北海道内に展開する携帯電話基地局に蓄電池を設置しており、その蓄電池の充放電を一斉に行うことが可能な制御システムを開発・運用しています。北海道電力では、様々なエネルギーリソースを束ね、その価値を提供するエネルギー・リソース・アグリゲーション・ビジネス(ERAB)を推進しています。ドコモと北海道電力は、効率的なDR実施体制の構築に向けた検討を行い、この度の運用開始に至りました。これにより、北海道電力が電力の需給ひっ迫時にドコモのエネルギー・マネジメント・システム基盤(以下、EMS基盤※2)へDR指令を行い、EMS基盤からの遠隔制御信号により複数の携帯電話基地局において蓄電池の放電を実施することで系統からの受電を減らし、電力の安定供給に寄与するものです。両社は今後とも、安定した電力・通信サービスの提供に努めるとともに、カーボンニュートラル社会の実現に向けた取り組みを進めてまいります。
