Telkom Indonesia and PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGN) officially established a strategic collaboration on April 20, marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to integrate digital infrastructure with low-carbon energy supply. This partnership will explore using biomethane, derived from palm oil waste in Sumatra, to power TelkomGroup’s data centers in Indonesia, with the aim of developing a biomethane-based green data center. PGN stated on April 13 that the MoU advances a green digital ecosystem. Previously, on April 13, Telkom Indonesia notified shareholders of the cancellation of its Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS), which was originally scheduled for April 24, 2026, and had been announced on March 18, 2026.
