PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, also known as Telkom, is a state-owned information and communications technology enterprise and telecommunications network headquartered in Indonesia. Founded in 1965, the company has approximately 17,800 employees and reported $8.9B in revenue as of 2025. It primarily offers fixed line broadband and television services to homes and businesses in Indonesia. The company also serves as the parent company of the Indonesian mobile phone operator Telkomsel. The Government of Indonesia maintains a majority shareholding of 52%. Telkom’s shares are traded on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) under the ticker “TLKM” and on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) as “TLK”.
Telkom Indonesia (IDX: TLKM) is seeking a strategic partner for its data centre business and could sell a majority stake in the process, targeting completion by the end of 2026. Previously, on September 7, the state-owned telecommunications company announced its intention to distribute dividends to investors this year, signalling a commitment to shareholder returns with a potential payout of up to 90% DPR.
