Finnish infrastructure operator Digita joined Resilience Center Finland on June 4, 2026, an initiative established by Minister of Foreign Affairs Elina Valtonen to consolidate public and private sector expertise in security of supply crisis preparations. Digita stated this move continues its efforts to secure critical connections for society and industry. Previously, on April 30, the company announced the appointment of Riku Helander as its new CEO, effective May 1, 2026. Helander, who joined Digita in 2024 as director of its telecom operations and brings over 20 years of experience in technology business leadership, replaces Vesa Tykkylainen, who held the CEO position since 2019.
