OPEN/MEN'S DIVISIONS The top two met in Open/Mens Division One South and Exeter University remain a point clear of Indian Gymkhana after the points were shared. It was 2-2 going into the final quarter and Jagdev Bansal gave Gymkhana the lead with nine minutes to go, but a 69th minute corner from Harry Markham, his second goal of the game rescued a point in the 3-3 draw for Exeter.

Women’s EHL Gloucester City kept hold of top spot in Women’s Division One North after a resounding 6-2 defeat of previously unbeaten Beeston, the Nottingham-based side’s first loss since September 2024. Jess Roe hit a hat-trick of corners either side of the break in the win which means they are a point clear of Buckingham, who beat Leeds 4-2 and two points further back are Sutton Coldfield who were 5-1 winners over Pendle Forest which included a brace for the long-serving Vicky Woolford.

His professional career, as a Director and Company Secretary for Civica, is in finance and technology and bringing financial expertise, Mike also played a role in the Finance and Audit Committees and chaired the Facilities Committee, allocating Sport England funding for new and refurbed pitch facilities.

Sloan announces retirement from international hockey

Double Commonwealth medallist and former captain, Ian Sloan, has announced his decision to retire from International Hockey having earned 141 caps in a lustrous career.
