The European Table Tennis Union (ETTU), a privately owned organization founded in 1957 and headquartered in Luxembourg, serves as the governing body for table tennis in Europe. Its responsibilities encompass the sport's development and promotion across its 58 member associations, as well as the organization of various European-level table tennis competitions, most notably the European Championships.
The European Table Tennis Union (ETTU) announced a new development support program for its 58 member associations in 2025, in collaboration with the ITTF Participation Program. Member associations interested in participating could submit expressions of interest via email to projects@ettu.org by August 18, 2025. The ETTU is the governing body for European table tennis, recognized by the International Table Tennis Federation. The ETTU manages all European table tennis matters, including sport development and promotion within its member associations' territories, and organizes continental competitions, such as the European Championships.
