The Asian Table Tennis Union (ATTU) is a privately owned racquet sports organization headquartered in China. It was founded on May 7, 1972, and officially recognized by the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) in 1975. Originally established with 16 member associations, ATTU has since grown to include 44 member associations from across Asia. The organization serves as the governing body for table tennis in Asia, promoting and developing the sport within the region.
