The International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF), a privately owned organization founded in 1926 and headquartered in Switzerland, governs international table tennis. On July 1, 2025, the ITTF reported the death of Oleg YEFIMOVICH MOLOCHNIKOV, a member of the Belarusian Table Tennis Federation's Executive Committee, at age 72. Khalil bin Ahmed Al Mohannadi, former ITTF Vice-President and President of the Qatar Table Tennis Association, filed a formal appeal against the outcome of the ITTF presidential election.
