Fete des Vignerons, a non-profit organization headquartered in Switzerland, was founded in 1797 and operates with approximately 10 employees. The organization is responsible for the Fête des Vignerons, a historic Swiss festival held in the town of Vevey, situated on the shores of Lake Geneva. This festival is uniquely organized approximately once every twenty years by the Confrérie des Vignerons (the Brotherhood of Winegrowers), a society whose roots in the region date back to the Middle Ages.
