The Football Association of Slovenia (NZS), a privately owned organization founded in 1920, is the governing body for football in Slovenia. Employing approximately 70 people and headquartered in Slovenia, the NZS organizes various domestic football competitions, including the first, second, and third divisions (the latter split into East and West leagues), the Slovenian Cup, and the Slovenian Women's League. The NZS also manages the national men's and women's football teams. As of 2023, this remains its core function.
