Makedonski Telekom AD, also known as Macedonia Telecom, is a privately owned telecommunications company founded in 1997 and headquartered in Skopje, North Macedonia. Employing approximately 800 people, the company's primary service offering is pay television. It is a subsidiary of Magyar Telekom Group, which in turn is a subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom.
Makedonski Telekom reported a 0.6 percent year-on-year increase in sales revenue during the first half of 2025, reaching MKD 6.0 billion. While fixed-line services saw a 1.2 percent revenue decrease, mobile revenues remained stable. EBITDA increased by 2.7 percent to MKD 2.6 billion, resulting in a 42.8 percent EBITDA margin. Net profit grew by 3.8 percent to MKD 1.1 billion, a 4 percent year-on-year increase according to a separate report released on July 31, 2025. This increase resulted from lower operating expenses and higher sales, partially offset by reduced financial income. Capital expenditure amounted to MKD 1.7 billion. On July 18, 2025, the company signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the North Macedonian government to support the country's digital transformation and development, aligning with the European Digital Decade 2030 agenda.
