This move, following a recent development where Galaxy Watches gained Free Mobile eSIM support, offers customers an interest-free financing plan via French fintech start-up Younited Credit, spreading the device cost over 24 months at EUR 17.04 per month. Earlier, on August 10, 2026, French operator Free, an Iliad subsidiary, upgraded its connection capacity on Nine, a France-based Internet Exchange Point (IXP), from 100 Gbps to 400 Gbps. The upgrade occurred at a point of presence (PoP) in the Paris region, specifically at the Telehouse TH2 Leon Frot data center.
