On September 9, 2025, Genelec celebrated the opening of Studio33:3, a new recording studio in Natick, MA, featuring Genelec Smart Active Monitoring. Later that month, in Tokyo, Japan, Avex Prime Sound Studio Form upgraded its flagship Room 1, replacing its Genelec 1035A main monitors with the 1235A Smart Active Monitoring models. In October, Genelec participated in two events: Audiovisual Expo in Tampere, Finland, from October 8-9, showcasing Installed Sound solutions; and Beatcon 2025 in Berlin, Germany, from October 3-4, where demonstrations of Genelec audio monitoring were featured.
