On May 6, 2026, Keshet International expanded its "The Search" franchise in Spain, securing two additional licensing deals following its success on Aragón TV and Canal Sur. Globomedia, a Mediapro-owned local outfit, received commissions to produce both a third local version of "The Search" for Telemadrid, titled "Sopa de Letras," and a children's spin-off, "Sopa de Letras Zagales," ordered by Aragón TV. The "The Search" format is a high-energy studio game show transforming word search puzzles into a physical competition. Previously, on January 21, 2026, RTVE presented "Barrio Esperanza," a dramedy co-created by Iván Escobar and Antonio Sánchez Olivas and produced in collaboration with Globomedia (THE MEDIAPRO STUDIO), at Content Americas 2026. RTVE positioned the series as its main bet for the event, aiming to introduce a new product to the American continent.
