Plano a Plano, legally operating as Plano a Plano S.A. and commercially known via planoaplano.es, is an independent television production house and media company headquartered in San Sebastián de los Reyes, Madrid, with a regional development branch operating via Plano a Plano Bilbao in the Basque Country. Founded in 2010 by film and television producer César Benítez, known for his work with Cristal Producciones and BocaBoca, the company specializes in entertainment content rights. With approximately 130 employees, Plano a Plano functions as a producer of Spanish serialized fiction. In July 2025, ITV Studios acquired a majority stake in the firm, integrating Plano a Plano into ITV’s Southern European operations alongside ITV Studios Iberia and Cattleya Producciones, while maintaining its creative leadership under Benítez, CEO Emilio Amaré, and Executive Producer Álvaro Benítez. The studio holds a multi-genre intellectual property portfolio with prime-time productions such as the police drama El Príncipe, the daily procedural Servir y Proteger (aired for 7 seasons and 1,372 episodes on RTVE), the thriller Toy Boy, and Netflix original hits including Valeria and A Perfect Story (Un cuento perfecto).
