The conglomerate was formed to manage the corporate assets, digital extensions, and broadcasting operations of Teleamazonas, a prominent free-to-air commercial television network in Ecuador. Officially structured in July 2012, the group manages the station's dual corporate hubs in Quito and Guayaquil. It maintains a legacy as a pioneer in South American broadcasting, having introduced the first nationwide synchronized signal grid and the first full-color television transmissions in Ecuador.
