Headquartered in Greece, it serves as the governing body for professional basketball in the country. HEBA manages and directs the 14 professional basketball clubs that participate in the Greek Basket League, the top-tier basketball league in Greece. Additionally, HEBA organizes and oversees the Greek Super Cup, an annual basketball competition between the winners of the Greek Basket League and the Greek Cup, and the HEBA Greek All-Star Game, an exhibition game featuring the top players from the Greek Basket League. With a team of approximately 10 employees, HEBA plays a crucial role in promoting and developing basketball in Greece.
