On June 5, IWBF released an updated schedule for the 2026 Men's Repechage Tournament in Suphanburi, Thailand, after Venezuela's late withdrawal from the competition due to financial reasons. This follows the announcement on June 1 that IWBF extended its partnership with Tissot through 2026, as the Road to Ottawa intensifies ahead of the 2026 IWBF World Championships taking place in Canada this September.
