The International Fencing Federation (FIE), a privately owned organization founded in 1913 and headquartered in Switzerland, is the international governing body for the sport of fencing. As of 2023, it employs approximately 110 people. Its primary activity is the organization and oversight of international fencing competitions and related activities.
On July 23, 2025, the International Fencing Federation launched FencingTV.com, a new livestreaming platform, in Tbilisi, Georgia, during the Fencing World Championships. The platform will provide live coverage of world fencing events. Several copyright notices from 2017 assert that the International Fencing Federation holds all rights to its website content and prohibits unauthorized reproduction or transmission.
