International Mixed Martial Arts Federation, also known as IMMAF, is a non-profit organization headquartered in Switzerland. Founded in 2012, the organization operates with approximately 60 employees. It functions as the global, democratic governing body for the sport of MMA (mixed martial arts), representing stakeholders worldwide.
On July 24, 2026, former IMMAF champions Abdul Hussein and Magomed Tuchalov are set to make their UFC debuts at UFC Abu Dhabi: Ankalaev vs. Guskov, both having previously won gold on the amateur circuit. Earlier, on June 10, 2026, Abu Dhabi was confirmed to host the seventh IMMAF Youth World Championships for the fifth consecutive year, an event organized by IMMAF and hosted by the UAE Jiu-Jitsu and Mixed Mixed Arts Federation. This follows IMMAF Junior World Champion Heorhii Hudz’s successful professional debut on June 1 in Kyiv, where he won via TKO in the second round. Previously, on May 4, 2026, the IMMAF Board of Directors unanimously approved the reinstatement of the Russian MMA Union as a member federation. This decision includes establishing a Working Group to support the structured reintegration of Russian athletes into international competition, beginning with the IMMAF Youth World Championships scheduled for August 17-23, 2026, in Abu Dhabi. Further back, on April 6, 2026, former IMMAF World Champion Muhammad Mokaev was announced to face Adriano Moraes at Netflix’s inaugural MMA event, MVP MMA 1.
