Ipsos is a publicly owned multinational market research and consulting firm headquartered in Paris, France. Founded in 1975 by Didier Truchot, the company has been publicly traded on the Paris Stock Exchange since 1 July 1999. It currently employs approximately 17,340 individuals.
On May 1, 2026, a Washington Post-ABC News-Ipsos poll indicated that American opposition to an Iran war rivals the unpopularity seen during the Vietnam War or the Iraq War. The survey, conducted from April 24-28, found that over six in 10 Americans believed using military force against Iran was a mistake.
