These reports highlighted a serious split and deep divisions emerging between Pezeshkian and senior IRGC figures regarding war strategy and its cost to Iran’s already strained economy. Earlier, on March 28, Iran International reported significant disagreements within the leadership, citing President Pezeshkian's criticism of the IRGC’s approach to escalating tensions and continuing regional attacks, with warnings of severe economic consequences.
