James Madison University

James Madison University, a State Owned institution based in the US, was founded in 1908 and currently employs approximately 6,790 individuals. The university functions as a public research university located in Harrisonburg, Virginia, United States. It was renamed in 1938 in honor of the fourth president of the United States, James Madison. It has expanded from its origins as a normal school and teacher's college into a comprehensive university, situated in the Shenandoah Valley, just west of Massanutten Mountain.
