Jet Tone Films, also known as Jet Tone Production, is a privately owned company headquartered in Hong Kong. Founded in 1991 and employing approximately 10 individuals, the company specializes in entertainment content rights. It operates as an independent film production and media company with regional offices in Beijing, Shanghai, and Taipei. The studio was founded by filmmaker Wong Kar-wai alongside director Jeff Lau, establishing it to grant Wong artistic governance and creative independence over his cinematic works. Jet Tone produces narrative features for global arthouse and independent cinema. Its library contributes to modern Hong Kong film history, including titles such as Chungking Express, Fallen Angels, Happy Together, In the Mood for Love, 2046, and The Grandmaster, in addition to international co-productions like My Blueberry Nights.
