Kingsoft, a privately owned company headquartered in China, was founded in 1988 and employs approximately 1440 individuals. The company operates as a software provider through four subsidiaries: Seasun, focused on video game development; Cheetah Mobile, which specializes in mobile internet applications; Kingsoft Cloud, offering cloud storage platforms; and WPS, responsible for office software, including WPS Office. Kingsoft (03888.HK) announced its subsidiary Kingsoft Office (688111.SH) expects a net profit attributable to shareholders of RMB2.022 billion to RMB2.307 billion for the first quarter, representing a year-over-year increase of 401.9% to 472.8%. Previously, on February 3, 2026, Kingsoft Office launched the WPS AI medical report writing assistant, identified as the industry's first, following the rollout of WPS 365 “Enterprise Brain” in Shanghai. Earlier, on January 29, 2026, Kingsoft Office and Huazhong University of Science and Technology jointly introduced the MonkeyOCR model, which supports restoring embedded images and merging tables across pages, achieving over 90% accuracy in complex table scenarios. This followed Kingsoft Office's announcement on January 27, 2026, that its WPS 365 “Enterprise Brain” solution, described as a core engine driven by universal knowledge, had first deployed among organization-level customers in East China, aiming to improve business efficiency and activate knowledge assets.
