Konami Digital Entertainment is a Privately Owned company headquartered in Japan. Founded in 1969, it operates with approximately 620 employees. The company specializes in consumer gaming, functioning as a video game developer and publisher with offices and subsidiaries globally.
Konami’s Gaming & Systems segment reported a US$5 million profit for the three months ending June 30, 2026, with revenue increasing 64.9% year-on-year to JPY12.4 billion (US$77.8 million) due to new casino openings and replacement demand in North America and Australia. Separately, Konami and Screen Burn Interactive shared new details for "Silent Hill: Townfall," explaining how its isolated Scottish setting, retro technology, first-person perspective, and unique gameplay elements, including five endings, will shape the psychological horror franchise's next entry. Previously, Konami published the PC requirements for "Silent Hill: Townfall," confirming the upcoming first-person horror game will require Windows 11, 16GB of RAM, and an RTX 2060 Super- or Radeon RX 6600-class GPU for its 1080p minimum target, and 32GB RAM for 4K. Earlier on July 30, Konami indicated its plans to implement annual releases for its biggest franchises.
