Korea New Network, also known as KNN, is a privately owned company headquartered in South Korea. Founded in 1994, the company employs approximately 280 individuals and operates as a tier 1 media tech buyer, specializing in broadcast television and radio. KNN functions as a regional free-to-air commercial broadcasting station based in Centum City, a high-tech media development complex within Haeundae in Busan, South Korea. Originally established in April 1994 as Pusan Broadcasting Corporation (PSB), KNN is affiliated with SBS. The company initiated demo transmissions upon its establishment in April, followed by test transmissions on September 7 of the same year, and officially commenced broadcasts on May 14, 1995. As of 2011, KNN's own programs constitute up to 35 percent of its total programming.
