Founded in 2001, with approximately 130 employees, the company functions as a tier 1 media tech buyer, specializing in broadcast television and radio. As a primary affiliate of the SBS (Seoul Broadcasting System) network, G1 operates as a South Korean private regional broadcaster. Headquartered specifically in Chuncheon, the station delivers comprehensive television, radio, and digital news services, precisely tailored to the Gangwon State region. Its programming strategy incorporates national content from SBS alongside localized productions such as regional news bulletins, cultural documentaries, and events like the National TOP 10 Gayo Show.
