On April 23, Kratos and the U.S. Army integrated the Kratos J85 engine into the Firejet drone system, advancing the MQM-178 Firejet into a more capable class with greater speed and marking a significant step in aero-performance. This Mk1 Firejet represents a second major configuration of the system, allowing users to select the model best suited for their operational needs. Previously, on April 22, Kratos highlighted its development and supply of solid-state power amplifiers (SSPAs) for radar, electronic warfare (EW), and airborne data link applications. These generic and custom microwave SSPAs support high-performance RF and microwave systems for both military and commercial sectors, offering power comparable to Traveling Wave Tube (TWT) Amplifiers across a wide frequency range.
