News Summary:

On July 28, 2026, Estonian company Levira selected the Nakolos platform from Big Blue Marble (BBM) for its Pocket Siren project in Estonia, a large-scale public warning initiative designed to evaluate 5G Broadcast performance across various real-world scenarios. The Nakolos platform delivers 5G Broadcast core service management mobile applications SDKs and integration expertise, having been previously demonstrated under real operational conditions during the project. Earlier, on June 2, Levira upgraded its core infrastructure with Starfish Technologies' patented transport stream processing technology, which enables the company to insert targeted commercials into live streams without decoding and recoding, supporting regionalisation and localisation of services. This followed the Estonian Ministry of Finance's confirmation on May 13 that the state would not privatize Levira, maintaining its 51 percent non-controlling stake in the media delivery and digital services company. Previously, on March 26, Levira established a presence in Leeds, England, with aql.com, serving global broadcasters including France 24, PBS America, and Warner Bros/Discovery.
