The company specializes in broadcast television and radio, commencing operations with the acquisition of WENY-TV (ABC) and WENY-FM & AM radio. In 2002, it expanded its portfolio with the purchase of WSEE-TV (CBS) in Erie, Pennsylvania, and has since included CBS and The CW affiliates in Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands, along with an ABC affiliate in the Virgin Islands.
On April 24, 2026, Erie News Now, an affiliate of Lilly Broadcasting, launched "Manufacturing Matters," a new weekly segment developed in partnership with the Warren County Chamber of Business and Industry. This segment will highlight manufacturers in Warren, mirroring the format of the existing "Giving You the Business" segment in Erie.
