Marriott International signed an agreement with Kuzu Group to open a St. Regis branded resort and residences in Bodrum, Turkey, scheduled for completion in 2030. This will be the company's 100th hotel in Turkey. Separately, an Aloft hotel opened in Istanbul's Karaköy district in September 2025, expanding Marriott's presence in the country. A Residence Inn, with approximately 100 rooms, is under development in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, as part of the Ferry Wharf development; Bennett Hospitality expects this Marriott-branded property to open in the first quarter of 2026. A conference hosted by the Palmetto Broadband Coalition was held at the Columbia Marriott Hotel in Columbia, South Carolina, from November 5–6, 2025.
