News Summary:

Marriott International signed two agreements with Catalonia Hotels & Resorts on July 24, 2026, to introduce new all-inclusive resorts in Jamaica and Tanzania, expanding its all-inclusive hospitality segment. Earlier that day, Courtyard by Marriott Phuket Patong Beach received a TripAdvisor Best of the Best award, securing a top 15 status following its rebranding in late 2023. Also on July 24, the company finalized a global agreement with ResortPass, which will enable participating hotels to offer paid day-access to amenities such as spas, health clubs, pools, cabanas, and day rooms. This arrangement provides a structured route for additional hotels to join the platform, where hundreds of Marriott properties have previously engaged through individual agreements. Earlier on July 24, Prerna Daga joined The St Regis New Delhi and New Delhi Marriott Marquis as Multi-Property Director of Marketing. In her new role, Daga will lead the marketing function for these two upcoming luxury properties, overseeing their brand positioning, communications, and pre-opening marketing strategy.
