McGill University Athletics and Recreation will host the RSEQ university indoor track and field championship meet on February 20-21, 2026, at the Richard Tomlinson Fieldhouse. Previously, on February 14, the No. 3 ranked McGill Redbirds men's swim team secured its sixth consecutive RSEQ conference championship, marking its 16th straight meet victory. Loïc Courville-Fortin contributed five gold and one silver, earning both swimmer of the meet and RSEQ athlete of the year honors at the three-day event in Sherbrooke. Earlier, on February 13-14, McGill's track and field teams competed at the RSEQ Last Chance qualifying meet in Sherbrooke. The Redbirds men collected three silver and one bronze, placing fifth overall, while the Martlets women captured three gold medals and 11 podium finishes for a second-place team result. On February 6, the McGill Martlets women's track and field squad achieved a gold medal in the triple jump and a silver in the 1000 metres at the UMass Lowell River Hawk Invitational in Boston.
