On March 9, 2026, the streaming service highlighted its show "American Classic," noting its availability for a seven-day free trial directly on its website, as well as through Prime Video and Roku. Previously, on November 19, 2025, Michael Wright was appointed global head of MGM+, taking on oversight of both U.S. and international operations. This leadership change followed the exit of Josh McIvor, who had served as the streamer's global general manager. Earlier, on November 5, 2025, the platform unveiled the official trailer for its "Words + Music" series, featuring artists such as John Legend, Sheryl Crow, Elvis Costello, and Alanis Morissette.
