Miles Films

Miles Films, also known as PT Miles Productions, is a privately owned Indonesian film studio and media company headquartered in Indonesia. Founded in 1995 by filmmaker and producer Mira Lesmana, who steers the enterprise alongside creative director and long-time business partner Riri Riza, the company specializes in content rights. The studio is recognized for its role in the modern resurgence of the Indonesian domestic cinema industry in the late 1990s and early 2000s. It initially achieved success through its television docuseries Anak Seribu Pulau before shifting its focus to theatrical features, producing coming-of-age and family films. Its intellectual property library and content catalog encompass titles such as the musical adventure Petualangan Sherina and its sequel Petualangan Sherina 2, the romantic drama Ada Apa Dengan Cinta?, the biographical drama Gie, the literary adaptation Laskar Pelangi (The Rainbow Troops), and co-productions such as Rangga & Cinta.
