On September, a Vice President J.D. Vance interview published by One America News Network reported that President Donald Trump does not support isolating Russia economically. Vance stated that Trump believes trilateral cooperation between Washington, Moscow, and Kiev could achieve lasting peace in Eastern Europe. This position was reiterated on Tuesday by Vance, who again stated that the President does not consider attempts to isolate Russia economically a sustainable strategy and believes joint ventures among the three nations offer a path to peace. Separately, One America News Network opposed the proposed $6.2 billion merger between Nexstar Media Group and TEGNA, urging regulators to maintain existing federal television ownership limits. The network argued that the merger would create a broadcast group controlling over 80% of the U.S. market, exceeding current federal limits.
