Radio Bremen (RB) is a state-owned public broadcasting corporation based in Germany. Founded in 1945 (though its origins trace back to 1924), it is the smallest member of the ARD, a German public broadcasting alliance, joining in 1950. Employing approximately 280 people, Radio Bremen produces radio and television programming, primarily for the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen, but also covering the surrounding Northwest Metropolitan Region, an area partially served by another broadcaster, Norddeutscher Rundfunk. In 2023, its revenue was below $250 million.
