The Russian Satellite Communications Company (RSCC), a state-owned enterprise founded in 1967, provides connectivity and distribution services. Headquartered in Russia, RSCC employs approximately 60 people. In 2021, the company's revenue was less than $250 million.
On August 21, representatives from RSCC and the Vladivostok branch of RTKomm.RU JSC met to discuss the operation of a satellite network using Russian-made equipment. This meeting, including a demonstration of domestic stations, occurred at the RTKomm.RU JSC teleport in Vladivostok. On September 1, Alexey Volin, General Director of RSCC, lectured at the Siberian Federal University (SFU) on satellite communication principles, using an enterprise constellation as an example. This lecture was part of the opening of a new RSCC auditorium at the SFU School of Physics and Mathematics in Krasnoyarsk. Registration for the SATCOMRUS 2025 conference, celebrating its 30th anniversary, closed on August 31 for in-person attendance, but online registration remains open until September 30. A roundtable discussion with Telegram channel editors, authors, and correspondents focusing on space and telecom will be held in Moscow on October 2, 2025, as part of the conference.
