Previously, on July 3, RSCC conducted a demonstration of domestic satellite communication terminals with small and ultra-small apertures in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), developed under an import substitution program. This followed an experiment on June 22, where RSCC collaborated with system developer STC to transmit information via a geostationary satellite, with the small spacecraft CSTP-2.11 on low Earth orbit conducting a communication session through an Express series satellite.
