The Saudi Esports Federation (SEF) and Merak Capital signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to develop the gaming and esports sector in Saudi Arabia, in line with Saudi Vision 2030 and the National Gaming and Esports Strategy. Saudi Telecom Company (stc) partnered with the SEF to integrate esports and gaming into its job attachment program. The SEF also hosted the second GCC Esports League at the SEF Arena in Riyadh. The league featured players and esports clubs from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
