Separately, SBB settled an ICSID claim against Serbia related to allegations of harassment from state authorities. On February 14, 2025, Fitch Ratings reported that e& PPF Telecom Group B.V.'s acquisition of SBB is unlikely to affect its rating. Another news source reported a larger, €1.5 billion deal involving the sale of assets, including SBB, by United Group to e& PPF Telecom and Telekom Srbija.
