Slovak Telekom, a publicly owned company headquartered in Slovakia and founded in 1999, is a subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom. Employing approximately 1,480 people, the company generated less than $500 million in revenue in 2022. Its primary offerings encompass a range of telecommunications services, including internet access, fixed-line telephony, digital television (pay TV), information and communications technology (ICT) solutions, and mobile services.
Slovak Telekom reported EUR 216.2 million in revenues during the first quarter of 2025, a EUR 10.6 million increase compared to the first quarter of 2024. EBITDA also increased by over 6 percent to EUR 102.2 million. In a separate announcement, Karolina Helebrantova was appointed head of the legal department for both T-Mobile Czech Republic and Slovak Telekom. This department is now part of the newly named People Law & Integrity division. Furthermore, Slovak Telekom announced a fibre-optic network expansion project in Central Slovakia in cooperation with Stredoslovenska Distribucna (SSD), an agreement finalized at the end of 2024. Finally, in 2024, Slovak Telekom gained 3703 telephone numbers through Mobile Number Porting (MNP).
