As a telecoms provider, Tigo offers entertainment content, cable and satellite TV, fixed and mobile services, cloud solutions, Internet and broadband services, and B2B services.
Amdocs and Millicom announced the expansion of their strategic partnership on August 20, 2026, with a multi-year managed services agreement for Telefonica Chile S.A. and Telefonica Moviles Chile S.A., companies operated by Millicom. This agreement serves as a significant milestone, establishing a foundation for broader regional collaboration and seeing Telefonica Chile utilize Amdocs' business and operations support systems, AI-driven application management, operations services, and software development capabilities to simplify technology operations and accelerate modernization. Earlier the same day, Paraguay's anti-trust regulator Conacom approved Argentina's Atis Group's acquisition of Millicom's local towers subsidiary, Lati Paraguay, for an undisclosed sum. Lati Paraguay owns 281 wireless communications towers, which will integrate into Atis' existing 1,000-plus sites across Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay. On August 19, Millicom International Cellular announced an interim dividend of $1.50 per share, payable in two installments in early 2027, concurrent with its second-quarter 2026 earnings release. This followed the initial establishment of the multi-year agreement between Telefonica Chile and Amdocs, designed to enhance business agility and simplify technology operations.
